This project was to develop and create a personal brand that presents my style and personality.
When designing, the idea of a monogram would come to mind. Having that feel to look abstract and different but bold at the same time.
Personal Branding
Sketches
When came to the sketches, the goal was to have the abstract look where the design created a shape. The form of the letters stands out altogether as one form together.
Color Palette
For the color palette, I wanted something warm and standout. Fall colors came to mind because I was born in the fall and because of all the vibrant colors of that time of the year.
Using a deep red, represents, passion and desire.
Typeface
I wanted the typeface to give that unique look and feel to the bold color.
Going through many different serifs and san serif fonts to find the right combination. With some research and testing, I was able to settle on…
Futura Condensed Medium (Headings)
Poppins Regular (Body)
Digital Iterations
Choosing the two strongest designs began the process of the digital forms.
With this, I started focusing on the abstract feel and look. Make each letter’s position blend but be strong as one.
Though, learned fast that edges need to be refined to create that smooth design that I was going towards. Thinking about white space and how shapes were formed within it was the next step to making the right choice.
First, started with the combination of Georgia Regular and Poppins Thin.
For the final design moved away from using a 19th-century serif font for the heading to a more geometric sans serif to create the feel the monograms were giving. Rounded edges where they needed it and straightened the sides that had a bit of a curve.

Final Logo
Business Stationery
For the business card design, I wanted to keep it simple to not have extra elements become a distraction. I added only the logo mark to the front with a little gray touch to pull the deep red out more. On the back, I included the full logo to the side, almost looking like it was cut off but not. Including my number, website, email, and location.
When it came to the cover letter and resume design simple as well to provide an easy layout to follow.
